This 2nd annual event will include a 5K run and an untimed 1 mile fun run, both open to runners and walkers of all levels. This event supports K-9s United, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the K-9 units of local law enforcement agencies in the Northeast Florida area. The organization was formed in 2015 following the death of K-9 Officer Baron, a member of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, who was killed by a wanted felon he was pursuing. In addition to the run, there will also be food, music, and K9 demonstrations. Entry fees range from $28 to $35 for the 5K. All participants 18 and under may register for $18 at all times. No pets as there will be several K9s from different counties. Service Dogs only.
