JYSC was founded in 1975, and for the thirty-eight years since then we have remained devoted to sharing the exciting game of soccer with the Jacksonville community.  JYSC is interested in partnering with families to help instill a life-long habit of physical fitness, great nutrition and team work, all focused on a deep commitment to giving back to our community.  JYSC teams, coaches and staff delve into all these areas. JYSC’s players and coaches invest in the community through offering numerous financial scholarships, supporting the Wounded Warrior efforts, providing uniforms, cleats and other equipment on a regular basis to needy children in Jacksonville and beyond, and providing training and instruction around the City to kids who would never touch a soccer ball without this commitment. We know that children that learn soccer in an environment that is encouraging, challenging and supportive will carry the skills gained far beyond the pitch into their adult lives…and healthy, productive kids who can face the realities of life is our guiding principle.

JYSC offers a variety of programs and camps throughout the year.  JYSC has a program for players of all ages and abilities.

Recreation Program for boys and girls ages 4 – 19. Recreational soccer is not focused on winning, but on participation, and is great for those who have never played before or those who have enjoyed the sport for a long time

Select Program is focused on providing the highest level of club soccer.  The Select Program requires players to try out each year for a team. Teams are single year age groups from U10 through U19. Players receive excellent training both from their coach and from the technical training staff of JYSC and have the opportunity to compete against other teams throughout the state, region and nation.

3 vs 3 League is a great way for kids to experience the more fun and skill side of the sport. It focuses on the importance of first touches and quick decision making. All players are involved in almost every play on the field. There isn’t any “down” time when you are out there. Kids learn quick the importance of being able to make a quick judgment of what to do next, and how to go about doing it.

PRO Martial Arts

PRO Martial Arts offers well-rounded programs that benefit everyone in your family! Kids learn the value of a lifestyle of quiet confidence, poise and fulfillment, while adults enjoy fitness kickboxing and other classes. The PRO Martial Arts System is the result of decades of training and teaching experience. It encompasses an exciting and diverse curriculum of martial arts techniques drawn from the Korean arts of Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.

Our classes provide a great workout without the kids FEELING like they are exercising. The curriculum incorporates a wide variety of karate-specific drills, all of which help sharpen minds, strengthen bodies and build coordination and balance. Mixed in with the karate drills are fitness exercises that make calisthenics fun and interesting. For example, kids hate push-ups, but they love bearwalks! They can’t stand sit-ups, but crab walks are a blast! By employing a little creativity and boundless positive energy, our highly trained instructors will have your child sweating and smiling at the end of class and begging to come back the next day!
